Swim Test The
swim test is administered on Sunday for all units.
Successful completion of the test is required for some aquatic
programs. Units may opt for a pre-camp swim test, but must
follow the off site swim test
procedures.

Instructional Swim Need help learning to swim?
The waterfront staff is available for instructional swim. Sign up
at the waterfront.

Mile Swim See the
waterfront staff for information. You will receive
your certification card upon successful completion, a patch is
available in the Trading Post when you present your card. Daily
practice sessions are mandatory.

Polar Bear Swim
Early morning swim. See the
waterfront staff for information.
|
 |
Safe Swim Defense & Safety Afloat Is mandatory for any
adult leaders leading their troop on aquatic activities.
This certification is good for two years. Training is
offered on Monday evening at 7:00 pm.

Snorkeling See the
waterfront staff for information. You receive a card upon successful completion, and a patch is
available in the Trading Post by presenting your card.

Troop Swim & Troop Boating
Schedule a Troop Swim and/or Troop Boating.
Troops must provide one Safe Swim Defense
trained adult lookout, one lifeguard for every 10 swimmers and 1
BSA Lifeguard. Sign up with another troop to increase your fun. A Safety
Afloat trained leader must be present.

Open Swimming
Open Swim is available at designated times - check with the
waterfront for the schedule.

Open Boating Open Boating is for canoeing, rowing,
and small boat sailing. Open Boating is available at designated
times - check with the waterfront for the schedule. |
