| Campsite reservation policy:
It is important to honor our campers that
regularly stay at Chesterfield Scout Reservation, therefore
those units can make reservations at the completion of their
week’s stay and have first right of refusal for the campsite
they are in.
Once the week of camp is ended, those
campsites not reserved will be available on a first-come-first
serve basis. (Example: If a unit is registered to attend camp in
2007 in the Birches campsite during Boy Scout Week #3, that site
does not become available until the end of the week and only if
the unit using it has not elected to return to that site on the
same week in the following year.)
It is important to note that at the end of
each week at Camp, any sites not reserved with a deposit are
available to any unit wishing to make the reservation for them.
Also note, a $50.00 non-refundable reservation
fee is due at the time of the reservation. By April 1st, the
Camp Director will contact all units and confirm the site
reservations and the number of participants. The unit may then
be reassigned if they do no have the site 2/3 full.
Campsites have a minimum of campers required
and we agree to fill at least the minimum. If we don’t, we
realize that the CSR Director may change the reservation site
based on the campsites needed. We will be notified in advance of
such changes. |
